PROJECT #3 BRAINSTORM

From the very first time I heard about this prompt I was rushed with ideas! This project was such a cool concept, so I knew that I wanted to do something crazy and go all out. My first idea is the one I ended up going with: Recreating my partners nightmares! For all the time I've known him, my partner Danny has always been plagued with horrific nightmares that he'll tell me about the next morning. I have a list of the most crazy ones that I want to include in my final project, as well as some of my own nightmares. For example, one consistent theme in Danny's dreams is his teeth falling out, I'll have nightmares about insects! I hope to use a good combination of hand-drawn animation and other forms of animation like After-Effects or maybe even stop motion! I want to use a lot of crazy visuals like flashing colors, scary characters, and an overall dreamlike scary vibe. I'm heavily inspired by the Pink Elephant Scene from Dumbo, as well as the Mississippi Queen scene from Regular Show. I want to primarily use hand-drawn animation, which I've already gotten a head start on and I'm having a lot of fun already! Animation is something I've really been wanting to get into more, so this is a great opportunity to do so! I'm mixing in a lot of different forms of animation and really want to push myself and see what I'm capable of, and I'm super duper excited to see how it comes together!
